About the role

Join Little Oaks Nursery as an Apprentice Early Years Educator. This role involves supporting the educational, social, physical, emotional, health, and welfare needs of children. You will engage in children's activities to stimulate and extend their learning, demonstrate sensitivity towards children and families, and assist with the admission and induction of new children. Responsibilities include maintaining records to meet internal and Ofsted requirements, promoting excellent health and safety practices, and responding effectively to any health and safety issues. You will participate in training and meetings as requested and perform other duties commensurate with the role. Little Oaks Nursery is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing high-quality learning experiences. The team is highly qualified and experienced, with additional practitioners employed to ensure the best care. Successful candidates may have the opportunity for ongoing employment upon qualification.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above (desired). Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, numeracy, analytical, logical, team-working, creative, initiative, and non-judgemental skills are essential. Patience is also required.
