About the role

As a Health & Social Care Apprentice, you will be trained to deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs. This includes creating and reviewing care plans, supporting new staff, and undergoing training on rota systems. You will also administer or assist with medication (where trained and authorised), liaise with families and healthcare professionals, and record, monitor, and report on health and well-being. The role involves supporting individuals with complex needs such as dementia, learning disabilities, or physical impairments, upholding safeguarding responsibilities, and traveling between clients' homes (mileage reimbursed). You will also attend training and workshops, completing off-job learning for your apprenticeship. As a Level 3 apprentice, you will take on greater responsibility, working towards the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Adult Care, preparing for senior roles like Lead Care Worker or Supervisor. Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle. A full DBS check will be required. Due to insurance purposes, candidates must be over 18.
