About the role
Penguin Preschool in Fareham, Hampshire is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join their team. This role involves working directly with children, supporting the planning and delivery of activities, and contributing to a high-quality, caring environment. Duties include creating a stimulating atmosphere, assisting with all aspects of childcare under supervision, supporting children's emotional and social development, acting as a key worker, promoting safeguarding, and adhering to preschool policies. The apprentice will gain experience in creating a warm and friendly environment, meeting children's needs, and documenting observations. The role offers the opportunity for progression to a Level 3 qualification and potentially a Key Person position upon completion.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
