About the role
An exciting opportunity to start or continue your childcare career with Parenta Training, working within a welcoming early years setting. Gain hands-on experience supporting children aged 0-5 whilst working towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification and developing valuable skills for a rewarding career. The role involves supporting children's learning and development through play and structured activities, assisting in creating a safe and stimulating environment, and supporting children's care routines and wellbeing. You will build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, observe children's progress, and contribute to development records. Promoting equality, inclusion, and positive behaviour is key, as is adhering to safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures. The apprenticeship includes training delivered through workplace learning, progress reviews, and support from a dedicated tutor, with off-the-job training as per the Occupational Standard. Successful apprentices may progress to a Level 3 qualification.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths grade 3/D or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are desired, along with initiative, patience, and creativity.
