About the role
A fantastic opportunity has become available at Oratory Montessori Day Nursery for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner. This role offers hands-on experience in a friendly 'Good' rated setting, supporting children's play, learning, and development. Duties include caring for children, preparing and maintaining environments, supporting play and development, adhering to safeguarding practices, and preparing snacks. To be eligible, candidates must be 16 or over and not already in full-time education. The apprenticeship will involve completing a Level 2 or 3 Early Years apprenticeship standard, with regular one-to-one sessions with a dedicated trainer. Apprentices will be paid, receive holiday leave, study for at least 20% of their working hours, and complete assessments. Upon successful completion, there is potential for full-time employment. Key skills required include good communication, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions.
