About the role
Fordfield House Nursery is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to study towards an Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship. This role involves ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5, promoting health and wellbeing, and implementing respectful care routines. The apprentice will learn about infection control, safe use of equipment, personal hygiene practices, and effective communication with children and parents. Key responsibilities include supporting children's holistic development through play and learning activities, observing and recording progress, and contributing to educational programmes. The apprenticeship emphasizes working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to meet the needs of young children. Upon successful completion, there is a possibility of a full-time role.
