About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to start or continue your career in childcare at Downside Nursery in Cobham, working with Parenta Training. You will gain hands-on experience supporting children aged 0-5 while working towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification. Duties include supporting children's learning and development through play, assisting in creating a safe and stimulating environment, and supporting children's care routines and wellbeing. You will build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, observe children's progress, and contribute to development records. The role also involves promoting equality, inclusion, and positive behaviour, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety procedures, and reporting any welfare concerns. Successful apprentices may have the opportunity to progress onto a Level 3 qualification and potential permanent employment.
