About the role

Puddle Ducks Nurseries is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Childcare Apprentices. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to work with and learn from experienced professionals, focusing on the care of babies aged 9 to 23 months. You will assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, organizing activities to promote creativity and development, and engaging children in play-based learning. Daily routines such as mealtimes and nap times will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with colleagues and parents is essential to provide the best possible care. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication, attention to detail, organizational, and teamwork skills, who are also creative, initiative-driven, and patient. The apprenticeship includes on-site training with potential external sessions and completion of a first aid course and DBS check.
