About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Optical Assistant at Specsavers in Openshaw. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, including welcoming customers, booking eye tests, pre-screening patients, and measuring frames. You will also play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the store by identifying and addressing any issues. Upon completion, you will be a fully qualified Level 3 Optical Assistant with diverse career prospects within the optical field. The role involves full-time working, 5 days a week including weekends, with daily on-the-job training provided in-store. No external college attendance is required. Be aware of the salary and ensure you can travel to the store location daily.
