About the role
Volvo Truck & Bus is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to become Apprentice HGV Technicians starting in 2027. This apprenticeship focuses on heavy vehicle engineering, where you will assist with repairs, fault diagnosis, and learn to use specialized Volvo tools. You'll work with qualified technicians to service, MOT, and maintain modern trucks, buses, and coaches, including hybrid technology. The program includes comprehensive training at Inspiro's Heavy Vehicle Academy in Derby, with accommodation, food, and travel costs covered by the employer. Upon completion, you will achieve a Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 qualification.
