About the role
Join Volvo Truck & Bus for an HGV Technician Apprenticeship starting in 2027. This role involves assisting with repairs, fault diagnosis, learning warranty procedures, working with the parts team, and using specialized tools. You will gain hands-on experience in servicing, MOT, and maintaining modern trucks, buses, and coaches, including hybrid technology. The program includes training at Inspiro's Heavy Vehicle Academy in Derby with block release, covering virtual classes and in-person days. Accommodation, food, and travel costs are covered by the employer. Upon completion, you will receive a Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 qualification, equivalent to an Apprenticeship Standard.
