About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a Volvo Apprentice HGV Technician in Peterborough. Starting between May and August 2027, this apprenticeship will provide you with the skills and knowledge to repair, service, MOT, and maintain modern trucks, buses, and coaches. You will work alongside experienced technicians, learn to diagnose and fix issues, and ensure warranty procedures are followed. The role involves assisting the parts team, using Volvo special tools safely, and maintaining workshop cleanliness. You will also be responsible for accurately completing job cards and reporting vehicle defects. This apprenticeship includes regular attendance at college and technical development training. Upon completion, you will earn a Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 qualification.
