About the role
Gain a broad range of experience-based knowledge of services provided within Burnley Leisure, based at Burnley St Peter’s and Padiham Leisure Centres. This role incorporates lifeguarding, requiring swimming ability and successful completion of a swimming test. Duties include teaching swimming, supervision of bathers, gym inductions, and cleaning operations. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. Upon completion, Burnley Leisure will support your learning within the Leisure Industry, offering qualifications specific to the sector and potential for full-time employment and career progression.

- GCSE English (Grade 2), GCSE Maths (Grade 2), Functional Skills English (Level 1), Functional Skills Maths (Level 1). Communication skills, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Patience, Physical fitness. Good school, college or work record of attendance.
