About the role

ICare is seeking a new Care Assistant Apprentice to study towards an Adult Care Worker apprenticeship Level 2. A full UK driving licence is mandatory for this role due to the nature of providing personal care. As a Care Worker Apprentice, you will support individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence while ensuring their dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life. Daily duties may include providing personal care with respect and compassion, assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, medication prompts, wellbeing checks, light household tasks, offering companionship, and building positive relationships. The role involves travelling between clients' homes and making a meaningful difference in people's lives. This is an important job supporting older people, those with disabilities, or individuals needing extra help due to physical or mental health conditions. Upon successful completion of the 10-month apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Adult Care Worker apprenticeship Level 2 qualification. There is a possibility of a full-time role offer after successful completion.
