About the role

MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS LTD is seeking a proactive and organized Business Development Executive Apprentice to generate new customers through outbound prospecting and provide day-to-day sales and administrative support. Key responsibilities include making outbound cold calls, researching and identifying potential customers, qualifying prospects, and following up on leads. The role also involves assisting with general sales and office administration, maintaining accurate customer records, and liaising with customers and internal departments. The apprentice will work towards an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation Practitioner Level 4 qualification, with one day per month dedicated to training in Brighton, and the rest of the time spent on the job applying new skills. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about AI, automation, data, and digital tools to improve campaigns, customer experiences, and business processes, with the potential for a pay increase, more responsibility, and a clear progression plan to a permanent role upon successful completion.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths & English A*-C or 4-9, and A Levels (A*-C or equivalents). Communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, administrative skills, initiative, teamwork, punctuality, reliability, ability to multitask, and willingness to learn company software are essential.
