About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join the Quantock Education Trust as a Cyber Security Apprentice. Based at either Haygrove School in Bridgwater or Sexey's School in Bruton, you will play a vital role in supporting and maintaining the Trust's ICT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include providing user support, monitoring IT systems, investigating security alerts, and assisting with vulnerability assessments and remediation. You will also contribute to developing cyber security awareness across the Trust and help maintain crucial documentation. This role requires a driving license and offers the potential for a permanent Cyber Security position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths: 4/C or above (or equivalent). Driving Licence required. Basic understanding of networking concepts, familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, or cloud technologies, and experience using IT systems in an educational or workplace setting are desirable.
