Apprentice Quantity Surveying Technician

About the role

TRAC FUTURES is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to embark on a career in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry. This Level 4 apprenticeship offers a comprehensive understanding of the commercial aspects of construction, from tender documentation to final accounts, including contract administration. You will gain practical experience in managing projects with a focus on financial outcomes and profit margins. Key responsibilities include communicating with stakeholders, understanding health and safety, identifying project resources, assisting with paperwork and project records, learning about contracts and commercial practices, monitoring project costs and budgets, and developing practical skills alongside experienced team members. Upon successful completion, there is an opportunity for progression into full-time employment or further training.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English (Grade 4/C), Maths (Grade 4/C), Science (Grade 4/C), and a CSCS Card (Pass). Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, administrative, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential.
