About the role

Embark on a rewarding career as a Dental Nurse Apprentice with HT SMILES LTD. This 18-month government-funded course, delivered by City & Guilds, will equip you with a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. You will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, managing reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing efficient chairside support, maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality, preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, and assisting clinicians during treatments. You will also be responsible for updating patient records, supporting patient comfort, managing stock, and upholding patient privacy. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills, along with a willingness to undergo a DBS check and Hepatitis B vaccination.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above
