About the role
This apprenticeship offers an excellent starting point for individuals aspiring to a career in community health, physical activity, or wellbeing. You will gain practical experience while pursuing a recognized apprenticeship qualification.
Key responsibilities include engaging with local communities to promote healthier lifestyles, planning and delivering physical activity programs, and contributing to community engagement initiatives. The role involves supporting community-led activities, gathering insights, promoting behavior change, and assisting with programs tailored to local needs, especially in disadvantaged areas. You will also support volunteers and youth pathways.
This program is specifically designed for 16-24 year olds who may have faced barriers to education or employment. Coach Core provides additional support throughout the apprenticeship.
