About the role

An exciting opportunity to join Cool Designs Ltd as an Apprentice Technician. You will be working on a range of air conditioning and heat pump systems, gaining hands-on experience with applied equipment. This role involves attending customer sites to shadow qualified engineers, learning about refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and troubleshooting technically challenging breakdowns both in-person and remotely. You will also work on electrical power supplies, control panels, and digital control systems, including basic BMS. A key part of the role is supporting the customer network to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided. This apprenticeship offers 25 days holiday and fully funded study options, with the potential for a permanent role as a qualified engineer upon completion. Training is delivered by GLP Training through a mixture of work-based learning and online sessions, with block release training in Worcester.
