About the role

VPS (UK) LIMITED is seeking a Fire and Security Apprentice in Nottingham. This role involves installing and maintaining integrated fire and security systems, including CCTV and intruder detection. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with specifications, health and safety regulations, fault finding, customer communication, and stock management. The apprentice will work with various colleagues and managers to meet targets and maintain a professional image. A full UK driving licence is required. Experience with CCTV and intruder systems is beneficial, as is a CSCS/ECS card. The apprenticeship offers a clear career path towards becoming an Alarm Engineer.

Entry requirements

  • Full UK driving licence, good communication and IT skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, team working, initiative, and physical fitness. A CSCS/ECS card is preferred but not essential. A knowledge of CCTV and Intruder systems is useful.
