About the role

As a Health & Social Care Apprentice, you will be trained to deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs. You will take an active role in creating and reviewing care plans, support new staff shadowing you, and undergo training on rota systems. Responsibilities include administering or assisting with medication, liaising with families and healthcare professionals, recording and reporting on health and well-being, and supporting individuals with complex needs. You will also uphold safeguarding responsibilities and travel between clients' homes. This apprenticeship involves attending training, workshops, and completing off-job learning. As a Level 3 apprentice, you will take on greater responsibility, working towards the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Adult Care, preparing for senior roles. Candidates must be committed, able to drive with access to a vehicle, and over 18. A full DBS check will be required.
