About the role

As a Health & Social Care Apprentice, you will be trained to deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs. Your responsibilities will include taking an active role in creating and reviewing care plans, supporting new staff, learning our rota systems, and administering or assisting with medication when trained. You will liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies, and will be responsible for recording, monitoring, and reporting on health and well-being. The role involves supporting individuals with complex needs, upholding safeguarding responsibilities, and travelling between clients' homes (mileage reimbursed). You will also attend training, workshops, and complete off-job learning for your apprenticeship. As a Level 3 apprentice, you will gain greater responsibility in providing and coordinating care, working towards the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Adult Care, preparing for senior roles such as Lead Care Worker or Supervisor. Candidates must be able to drive, have access to a vehicle, and be over 18. A full DBS check will be required. Further and higher skill development within the business is expected.
