About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Apprentice Engineering Manufacturing Operative at P C P GRATINGS LTD. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including light machine work, using grinders, drills, and auto welders. You will be trained to assemble metal components to specifications, read engineering drawings, and perform welding and fabrication. The role also involves inspecting and testing products, finishing and packing, and maintaining machinery. This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate with the wider team, ensuring a safe and clean work environment. Progression opportunities include further apprenticeships up to Level 3 in Engineering, with potential to develop skills in welding and fabrication.
