About the role
This is an opportunity for individuals who have recently left school or are not considering university to start a career in professional cooking. The apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and presenting food under the guidance of experienced chefs. Apprentices will learn essential skills such as knife techniques, various cooking methods, and understanding food safety, allergens, nutrition, and sustainability. The role involves working as part of a kitchen team, participating in culinary masterclasses, and receiving ongoing support through the Sodexo Apprentice Culinary Academy. Upon completion, apprentices will earn a fully funded Level 2 Chef Apprenticeship qualification, building confidence and shaping a career in food.
