About the role
Join our friendly, independent café team as a Production Chef Apprentice at Nomad's Cup in Broomhill, Sheffield. You will gain hands-on kitchen experience preparing, cooking, and presenting quality food alongside our supportive team while working towards your Level 2 Production Chef qualification. Duties include preparing fresh ingredients, cooking and presenting food to a high standard, using kitchen equipment safely, maintaining high standards of food hygiene, monitoring fridge and freezer temperatures, storing ingredients correctly, applying stock rotation, assisting with deliveries, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. You will also complete daily setup and closing duties and take on increased responsibility for preparing and cooking dishes independently as skills develop. Opportunities exist to develop cooking skills and progress in the hospitality industry.
