About the role

Become an Early Years Educator with STAR BRIGHT DAY NURSERY LIMITED in Harlow. This apprenticeship offers a 14-month program leading to an Advanced Diploma in Early Years. You will work with children aged 0-5, creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment while adhering to EYFS requirements. Duties include facilitating indoor and outdoor activities, supporting children's self-care needs, and communicating effectively with staff and parents. Essential requirements include GCSE Maths & English at C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2. Key skills developed include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, logical, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgmental attitude, patience, and physical fitness. Online training will be provided for the first 8 weeks, requiring a laptop/PC, with the remainder of the apprenticeship undertaken in the nursery setting with dedicated assessor support. Upon successful completion, career progression opportunities include becoming a Level 3 practitioner, Room Leader positions, management training, or pathways into primary education, paediatric nursing, or further development within the nursery.
