About the role

We are seeking a motivated apprentice for a hands-on, multi-skilled engineering role at Titon Hardware Limited. This apprenticeship combines maintenance engineering and toolroom practices. You will assist with planned preventative maintenance, support breakdown response, and work on various mechanical and pneumatic systems. Additionally, you will gain experience in manufacturing and repairing components using manual milling machines, centre lathes, and surface grinders, producing precision parts and supporting the development of jigs and fixtures. The role also involves learning engineering fundamentals, reading drawings, using precision measuring equipment, and understanding tolerances and material properties. This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to develop a broad range of engineering skills and contribute to improving equipment reliability and production support.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 5 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
