Early Years Educator Apprentice - Level 3

About the role

Ladybirds Nursery in Beckenham is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice to complete their Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. This apprenticeship offers hands-on training to prepare you for the responsibilities of an Early Years Practitioner, with support from an award-winning training provider. You will work as part of a dedicated team, planning and delivering activities for children aged 0-5, and will be responsible for their care and education within a key person structure. Key duties include maintaining a stimulating and safe environment, assisting with daily checks, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and supporting qualified staff. This role requires a genuine interest in child development, dedication to completing the apprenticeship, and a minimum of a Grade C in GCSE Maths or English (or willingness to undertake functional skills). Strong work ethic, effective communication, and a respectful approach towards children and staff are essential.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths or English (Grade 4/C) or willingness to complete Functional Skills.
