About the role

Ladybird Nurseries Limited is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Childcare Apprentice to join their team in Beckenham. This apprenticeship is an ideal starting point for a career in early years education. The role involves working with children aged 0-5, creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment while teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. You will participate in various indoor and outdoor activities, support children with personal care needs, and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents. This apprenticeship leads to an Advanced Diploma in Early Years and offers significant career progression opportunities, including becoming a Level 3 practitioner, potentially leading to a full-time position, Room Leader roles, management training, or even pathways into primary education and paediatric nursing. The nursery is conveniently located near Beckenham Junction station and offers a stimulating environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Attention to detail, organisation skills, team working, initiative, and patience are essential.
