About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join LADYBIRD NURSERIES LONDON LIMITED as an Early Years Specialist Apprentice. You will be working in a childcare setting with children aged 0-5, contributing to their development and well-being. Your apprenticeship will involve creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment, teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and supporting children with self-care needs. You will also communicate effectively with team members and parents, and liaise with external customers. This 14-month program requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. Upon successful completion, you can progress to a Level 3 practitioner role, with potential for a full-time position, room leader roles, management training, or even a career in primary education or paediatric nursing. The nursery is a well-equipped facility located in the old Station Master's house, accommodating up to 22 children daily, with dedicated play areas.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths & English C/4 or above, Functional Skills Maths & English Level 2. Key skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administration, numeracy, analysis, logic, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness.
