About the role

An Early Years Apprenticeship at Brambles Outdoor Nursery Group Ltd combines practical experience with recognized training to care for and support children's learning and development. Apprentices will work in a nursery setting, assisting with activity planning, ensuring child safety, and supporting individual needs while working towards a qualification. Duties include planning and participating in activities promoting physical, intellectual, and emotional development, observing and recording child progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, communicating with parents via the Famly App, promoting 'learning through play', and helping children with self-help skills. The role emphasizes treating children as unique individuals with respect and attending staff meetings. Safeguarding and Child Protection are paramount, requiring practitioners to safeguard children's wellbeing, provide a safe environment, identify children needing extra help, and promptly raise concerns. Training includes NVQ in Childcare, Certificate in Childcare, and Key Skills.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English C/4 or above. Communication skills, Attention to detail, Customer care skills, Team working, Non judgemental, Patience. Pass an enhanced DBS.
