About the role
Start your career in care with our Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship. Gain valuable hands-on experience supporting adults with their daily needs while earning, learning, and developing the skills needed for a rewarding career in health and social care. Duties include assisting clients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities, as well as light household tasks. You will learn to adhere to policies, report changes in client health, and promote independence. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with good communication, attention to detail, and a caring nature. Upon successful completion, there is an opportunity for a full-time role and progression to a Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, teamwork, initiative, and patience.
