Care Support Apprentice

About the role

Start your career in care with our Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship. Gain valuable hands-on experience supporting adults with their daily needs while earning, learning, and developing the skills needed for a rewarding career in health and social care.

As a Care Support Apprentice, you will learn how to provide high-quality care and support to people in their own homes while developing valuable skills and experience. You will support individuals with their daily routines, help with personal care, prepare meals, and assist with medication as per training and care plans. You will also provide companionship, support with light household tasks, and work closely with colleagues and healthcare professionals. This role requires a caring, reliable, and positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. The apprenticeship is for 1 year, with potential for full-time employment upon successful completion.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grades 4-9 (A*-C)
