About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to "earn and learn" within West Suffolk Council's dynamic Energy Team. You will gain hands-on experience, build knowledge, and develop the confidence needed for a successful career. The role involves assisting with decarbonisation projects, including electric vehicle infrastructure, heat pump installations, and solar PV. You will undertake technical, analytical, and administrative tasks to improve the council's energy efficiency and reduce utility costs.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English Language and Maths (grades 9 to 4 or A* to C), or equivalent. Desired: GCSE in geography or environmental studies (grades 9 to 4 or A* to C). Skills: Communication, IT, Problem solving, Presentation, Administrative, Analytical, Team working, Initiative.
