About the role
Balfour Beatty Rail is seeking motivated individuals to join their MPV team as Apprentice Train Drivers. This 10-month training program combines practical experience with classroom learning, leading to a Level 3 Train Driver Apprenticeship. You will learn to drive specialist Multi-Purpose Vehicles (MPVs) used for maintaining and improving Network Rail infrastructure. The role requires working closely with route teams, maintenance staff, and the control function, ensuring all activities are completed safely and efficiently. No prior rail experience is necessary, but a desire to build a long-term career in the rail industry is essential.
