About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Apprentice to join STONECROFT DAY NURSERY LIMITED. The apprentice will be responsible for supporting children in three separate rooms with self-help skills and planned activities, ensuring appropriate care is given. Key duties include assisting with light household duties, personal care (toileting and food preparation), and setting up daily activities. The role also involves assisting at snack and mealtimes.

The ideal candidate will be a good team player with strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with parents. While not essential, GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above are desired. Essential qualities include communication skills, attention to detail, customer care skills, creativity, being non-judgemental, and possessing patience.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is encouragement for career progression within the company. The nursery provides a supportive environment for children aged 0-5, with separate rooms and a garden area, emphasizing individual development. The nursery also offers benefits such as a paid DBS check, birthday leave, annual pay review, paid uniform allowance, and team social events.
