Apprentice Level 2 Early Years Practitioner in a Nursery

About the role

An exciting opportunity to start or continue your childcare career with Parenta Training, working within a welcoming early year setting. Gain hands-on experience supporting children aged 0-5 whilst working towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification and developing valuable skills for a rewarding career.

Duties:

Support children's learning and development through play and structured activities.

Assist in creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.

Support children's care routines, wellbeing and independence.

Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Observe children's progress and contribute to development records.

Promote equality, inclusion and positive behaviour.

Follow safeguarding, child protection, health and safety and confidentiality procedures at all times.

Report any concerns regarding a child's welfare in line with safeguarding procedures.

Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths grade 3/D or above. Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Initiative, Patience.
