About the role

Buttercup Barn Day Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice to join their team. As an apprentice, you will be a key member responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities for children, supporting their play, and contributing to their development through observation. You will also assist with supervision during rest and mealtimes, maintain a safe and clean environment, and work alongside external agencies. The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, patient, caring, and able to interact positively with both children and adults. Flexibility, reliability, trustworthiness, motivation, and good timekeeping are essential. This role suits a candidate with a bubbly, outgoing personality who can work independently and is committed to their apprenticeship. Progression to higher qualifications or full-time employment may be available upon completion.
