About the role

Launch a rewarding career guiding young people while earning a degree-level qualification. This Level 6 apprenticeship combines hands-on experience with expert training, professional growth and meaningful impact in education settings. Duties include working alongside experienced careers professionals to deliver high-quality guidance and support, maintaining relationships with employers, universities, training providers and apprenticeship programmes, and working closely with colleagues across the trust to ensure every student receives high-quality careers education, information and advice. You will also attend events such as options evenings, open evenings and results day to support students and families, help organise careers events, employer engagement activities, workshops and work experience, and support individual students with applications, CVs, and next steps for education, training, or employment. Travel to other Astrea schools in Cambridgeshire will be part of your development programme.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. Strong communication, IT, organisation, problem-solving, administrative, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential, along with attention to detail, initiative, and a non-judgemental attitude.
