About the role

Slaughter and May is offering a six-year Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme for bright and motivated school leavers interested in a career in commercial law. During the first four years, apprentices will rotate annually through different practice areas, gaining experience while studying for an undergraduate law degree at BPP University one day a week. In the latter part of the programme, apprentices will join trainee rotations, moving to new practice areas every 3-6 months, continuing their studies for their degree and the SQE. Opportunities for UK and international secondments may be available. In each seat, apprentices will be supervised by an experienced lawyer, with goals set in collaboration with BPP. Responsibilities will vary, but apprentices will be actively involved in client work from the outset. Applicants should not have completed an undergraduate degree, must have achieved 7 GCSEs at grade 6 or above (including Maths and English), and achieve or be predicted AAB at A-level. The right to work in the UK is essential.
