Apprentice Recruitment Consultant - Qualified Social Work

About the role

Ardent Social is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven individual to build a long-term career in specialist social work recruitment. No prior recruitment experience is necessary as comprehensive training, ongoing coaching, and development will be provided. The ideal candidate is motivated, resilient, and eager to achieve success. Key duties include candidate acquisition through high-volume outbound prospecting, relationship development with social workers, and creative approaches to sourcing candidates. You will also be responsible for candidate qualification, assessing suitability against vacancies, understanding market conditions, and managing a pipeline of qualified social workers. Maintaining accurate CRM records and delivering a premium, professional service to candidates are crucial. The role involves progression towards independent billing and potential leadership opportunities within a fast-growing startup.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4-9). Strong communication, organisation, relationship-building, and time management skills are essential. The candidate should be highly motivated, resilient, confident, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, handle objections, and manage rejections.
