About the role
We are seeking a motivated 1st Line IT Support Apprentice to join the 3Gi Technology team, based full-time onsite at Pure Malt in East Lothian. This role involves providing first-line IT support to users face-to-face, via phone, and email, acting as the primary IT point of contact. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support Microsoft 365 and cloud applications, set up new starters, and maintain system documentation. The apprenticeship offers a fully funded, industry-recognised qualification, structured training, and hands-on experience with modern enterprise technology, including security and cloud operations. No prior IT experience is required; a genuine interest in technology, a willingness to learn, and good communication skills are essential. Entry requirements
- A real interest in IT and technology, comfortable dealing with people face to face, good communicator, organised and methodical, happy to ask questions and learn, reliable, flexible and willing to get stuck in, able to commute reliably to Haddington, East Lothian.
