About the role

An exciting opportunity to start or continue your childcare career with Parenta Training, working within a welcoming early years setting at Muddy Puddle Nursery. Gain hands-on experience supporting children aged 0-5 whilst working towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification and developing valuable skills for a rewarding career.

Key duties include supporting children's learning and development through play, assisting in creating a safe and stimulating environment, supporting children's care routines and wellbeing, building positive relationships with children and parents, observing children's progress, promoting equality and inclusion, and adhering to safeguarding and health and safety procedures. You will work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education.

This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to completing their qualification. Successful apprentices may have the opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths grade 3/D or above. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience.
