About the role
Join CROWN CHILDCARE LTD as a Level 2 Early Years Apprentice and play a vital role in supporting the development of young children. You will assist lead educators in daily routines, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include setting up play areas, preparing learning materials, greeting families, and supporting a variety of activities such as arts, crafts, music, and storytelling. You will also supervise children during outdoor play, encourage social skills, assist with mealtimes, support toilet training and hygiene habits, and monitor rest periods. Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment by disinfecting toys and equipment is also key. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in childcare and contribute to children's physical, emotional, and social development.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English Grades 4-9 (A*- C) desired. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisational, customer care, problem-solving, analytical, logical, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience skills are essential.
