About the role

Dragonfly Day Nursery is seeking an Apprentice Level 2 Early Years Practitioner. This role involves supporting children's learning and development through play and structured activities, assisting in creating a safe and stimulating environment, and supporting children's care routines and wellbeing. The apprentice will build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, observe children's progress, and contribute to development records. Promoting equality, inclusion, and positive behaviour, while adhering to safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures, is crucial. The apprentice will work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education. GCSE English and Maths at grade 3/D or above are desired, alongside strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, initiative, and patience. The apprenticeship is for 1 year, with a salary of £16,640 per year, and a start date of 02-11-2026. Training will be delivered by PARENTA TRAINING LIMITED.
