Childcare Assistant Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to become a Childcare Assistant at CT Skills, based in Grantham. You will be working in a supportive environment, assisting children in their learning and development. Key responsibilities include supporting children individually and in groups, aiding with learning activities, assisting with meal times and after-school clubs, and helping with administrative tasks. You will also be involved in preparing snacks, maintaining a tidy classroom, and contributing to the creation of inspiring learning spaces. The role involves developing into a key person role over time, with potential for a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. Training will be provided for first aid and other essential skills. This role is ideal for individuals with patience, initiative, and a passion for childcare.
