About the role
Apprentices will support the daily care, learning, and development of babies and young children within the nursery setting. Duties include assisting with play activities, supporting children's routines, promoting positive behaviour, helping with meal and sleep times, maintaining a safe and stimulating environment, and building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Apprentices will work alongside experienced practitioners while developing their skills, knowledge, and understanding of early years practice. Upon completion, there's an option to train to higher levels or take on specialist roles within the nursery.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths & English: A*-C/9-4 (Essential). Communication skills, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Reliable & trustworthy, Enthusiastic and proactive.
