About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Community Support Worker with LOTUS HOME CARE LIMITED. You will be trained to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing care plans, supporting new staff, administering medication (when trained and authorised), liaising with families and healthcare professionals, and recording health and well-being. You will also support individuals with complex needs and uphold safeguarding responsibilities. Travel between clients' homes is required, with mileage reimbursed. This Level 3 apprenticeship will lead to the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Adult Care, preparing you for senior roles like Lead Care Worker or Supervisor. Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle, and cannot be under 18 due to insurance purposes. A full DBS check will be required.

  • GCSE Maths & English: A*-C/9-4 (Desired), Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Compassionate, Ability to work independently, Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
