About the role

GESTAMP TALLENT LIMITED is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice to join their Health and Safety team in Wolverhampton. This role involves completing daily administrative tasks, recording accidents, and managing service contracts for cleaning, security, and meter calibration. The apprentice will communicate with various departments to ensure the timely completion of health and safety processes, maintain an up-to-date accident tracker, and chase outstanding investigations. Responsibilities also include collecting and recording health and safety data for reporting, distributing safety footwear, and scanning confidential HR/H&S documents. The apprentice will also assist with other administrative tasks related to health and safety and the environment, ensure accident investigation forms are completed, update the tracker, and raise/log purchase orders for H&S. Conducting HSE audits will also be part of the role. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a full-time position and further training.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English, Maths and Science at grade 9-4 minimum. Essential skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, administrative, analytical, logical thinking, teamwork, being non-judgemental, and patience.
